Below is our mission statement hopefully explaining a bit about how we feel and handle cases that we receive.
- Investigate paranormal activity based on current hypothesis and concepts.
- Document acclaimed places of suspected activity and study the occurances.
- Maintain the privacy and honor the confidentiality of all those whom we investigate, if they so desire.
- Offer a professional, scientific service. We will never charge, and never ask for money, but donations are accepted.
- Attempt to find an explanation for suspected paranormal activity. Document and attempt experiment with proprietary devices as well as try and capture on film or other media true evidence for the activity.
- Try and understand the psychology behind the experiences as well as match them with proper evidence.
- Keep an open mind to all types of testing and find new ways to communicate with whatever is causing the activity and experiences.

The word Emania is Celtic for "Land of the Moon (where the dead go)", which is what we all would like to understand; "What happens to us after we die"?
Our goal is to examine reports of paranormal type activity and try to explain away the normal reasons that may be causing the 'said' activity. Mostly we focus on what most people would refer to as "Hauntings", however we also examine and investigate Cryptozoology as well as unexplainable events including U.F.O.s and Telekinesis.
We do NOT claim places to be haunted and do not charge for our research. As Emania Paranormal Research, we have tried to separate ourselves from being just a “ghost hunting” group and stress the fact that we are in fact a “research facility.”
Yes, we do investigate from time to time different places from abandoned buildings to private residences; however we do not house a team of “ghost hunters” and prefer to work along side other “ghost hunting” groups.
